So, this song has technically been in existence for 13 years!

It began around 2007, and was used for my Incandescence project. I had a 2 minute track around those notes (51260 was my reference for them) but I never got it to a stage I called 'finished'. It never made it to any of the albums, but every so often, even after I had called it a day on that projoect, I used those notes

At that time I was in a tech/deathgrind band called Reth. The riff ended up in one of the songs we played live a few times, but unfortunately it never got recorded by the time we split up in 2009, but the notes of the riff has stayed with me (51260).

I played around with the original Incandescence recording a couple of times in the following 11 years, but, as I had no solo project to speak of, I never had the motivation to finish it, and was more focused on playing in bands in this time anyway.

So, this is now something like version 6 of the ambient / noise rework of it, and I am incredibly happy with what I can now call 'its final form', with the big long noise adventure, then the pay off. Most of the work on this track has been done between the dates mentioned for working on this specific release with I,Eternal Eric as well though, as it is now a very different, barely recognisable beast to what it was before.
