This is my attempt at making an Owlripper 42 Seconds compilation with a full amalgamation of styles, influences and showing what I have learned so far about making music (and accompanying visuals, aesthetics, concepts etc) on my own.

Every track is exactly 42.000 seconds in length, and hundreds of hours have gone into arranging this half an hour insanity trip.

Made between (approximately) April 2016 and February 18th 2023. I wasn't working on this the whole time, but that is how far back some of the original sounds go, and they never found a home until now. I decided to start putting it all together after the 1st of those Owlripper collections came out in April 2022, so it has still taken 10 months.

I hope you will listen closely, especially those who 'get' Owl and the 42 Seconds series of compilations. Even though every track is short, I feel they all resolve, or at least the next part resolves it. Sounds made with: bass, guitar, piano, synth, laptop, field recordings (streams, cars, fireworks, fridge, crickets, ducks), my mouth and my body, Reaper, Wavepad and a variety of plug-ins and effects pedals.

All the while I was working on the track order and titles, even up until 2 days before release. Deciding which titles to keep as nods to the sonics or the feelings I wanted to put across, or which to keep similar to the working titles, or have elements of humour or be more serious; This was all a really big part of the process for me.

Thank you for continuing to indulge in me and my nonsense noises. I think the next 100 will happen much quicker, so, I hope you are as prepared as me for what comes next....
