Hello and welcome to TEHOWL's 'Mythology Of Nau'.
This is the story of Nau;
the world of the futuristic population Nauhaladh.
A planet and people that learned to adapt and then thrive directly powered by sound, vibrations, connections and compassion.
They are the weavers of tales, energised by the telling of stories, and oxygenised by sound. Only truth and goodness flows through them.
Each piece tells a tale; of what came before; how the past world became extinct; of how the Nauhaladh began and grew, to their happiness and acknowledgement of everything in their world, and the infinite future possibilities that flourish as a result.
What you know of your world is gone.
What remains is Nau.

A collaboration between The Owl & Teh(A)nu.
Sonically it journeys through ambient dark and light, swirling cinematic noise, industrial, breakcore, techno, glitch, drone, piano and more, with a whole host of electronic and acoustic instruments and implements used to create the new world.
Made using a variety of items between September 8th 2020 to March 9th 2021. Guitar, bass, drums, vocals, piano, Teenage Engineering synths, Monotron Delay, tenor recorder, soprano recorder, melodica, pitch pipe, wooden hanging clackers, various children's toys, plus each other's songs, as the initial idea was to make remixes and new songs, but then the concept of a new world ascended and spiralled things into totally different territory.
All the absolutely incredible artwork (cover, logo and individual tracks) and font created by Dan Chay Nguyen (aka Teh(A)nu) between March 2021 and July 2022. The download includes the full resolution artwork.
