OWL71 - 3 part 34 minute trip made in association with The Museum Of Viral Memory. Two parts were contributed to a symphonic piece, and the third is a remix of one of their tracks.
Avantgarde, abstract, surreal electronic noise and dark ambient soundscapes with contemporary classical overtones; conveniently obtuse, unsettling and entertaining loops and direction changes just as you were getting comfortable.

During December 2021, I was asked to make two 13 minute pieces that contributed to a symphony!
They were converted by the means of a kind of crazy technological magic beyond my comprehension into Acoustic Bell Pianos, Cellos, Clarinets, Double Bass, Violas and Violins that can be heard at times during this mammoth release on The Museum Of Viral Memory.

released April 26, 2022
This release is the two original tracks, plus a remix I made of a Museum track. It's weird, and definitely requires headphones, concentration, maybe even meditation and the desire to devote 35 minutes to my noises to get the most out of it, and I truly and sincerely thank anyone who allows me to be in charge of their weird-music-seeking brain for a little while.
I guarantee some unexpected fun in amongst the dark abnormalities, loud noises and tensely unnerving warped sonic structures.

The Origins Of The Sounds
1 - Cerebral Constriction track from around 2006. Set on fire, the ashes kicked around by 30 drunk hyenas and then reassembled with chopsticks and glue on the side of the Eiffel Tower, and played back through the PA speakers in a jazz club whilst everyone around is upside down on whisky and LSD.
2 - Three Incandescence tracks from a final 'album' made during 2008 which consists of 20 tracks never assigned to anything, not really finished, just ideas. I have started giving some of these tracks homes within the Owl Apartments complex, somewhere fresh, new and exciting to hang out, where they can practice magic, cooking and continuing on their path of perpetual self improvement.
3 - A remix of The Museum Of Viral Memory's track, 'Refuge'.
All 3 tracks were coerced into these particular states during the last two weeks of December 2021. It was a crazy year, and on a personal note, an intense and delightful one for my music making, and it definitely ended on a weird note or three here!
Thank you to Lee at The Museum, for some great chatters over the course of the last year, with fantastic insights into the really inspiring and imaginative work that he and they do over at their various pages, which I was led into by their Bandcamp page.
This was the release where things really started making sense over there, so maybe this is a good starting point for you if you are not aware:
