To be completely honest, the owl is making some of the best experimental music out there. Morbid Beauty is awe inspiring, the sloth hammer, some of the owl ripper compilations I can jam to in the car, but then there is always this. His solo contemplative works. Whenever I need to think or just let my mind take a break from reality I will pop one of these on, put my headphones on, and drift away. (In other words, buy this album).

OWL77 - A heavily experimental electronic, sometimes ambient, sometimes noisy journey into the further corners of my mind cosmos, where all the shackles are non-existent, and the colours are much more vibrant and meaningful.
Roaming around all the levels and layers of sound; dark, rhythmical, glitch, surreal, abstract, harsh, chaotic, crunchy, structured and vaguely understandable, the collaged nature of this album speeds along at a hectic rate at times, with eventual clarity and clarification of the confusion.

Made in a huge variety of ways between 2008 and May 2022.
The original shells of Venturer & Persistence are both from my Incandescence project, some nearly-but-not-quite finished tracks made in 2008, drastically reworked from January 2022.
'Unknown' is originally a 17 minute bass jam I did in Klub Futra, Orlová, Czech, on December 24th, 2021. I sped it up to just 1 minute, then stretched and looped and battered it into a 10 minute track, which was then pushed into a box, put in the freezer for a month, removed and hit with ten hammers, had glue thrown at it and was left out in the sun for 3 weeks to see what happened to it. I then hit it with hammers again until it looked like it sounds right now.
All the other tracks were done in quite a few sessions during January and March 2022, to all be finally called complete May 17th 2022.
Cover and track artwork all done by me, using some semi-generative digital artwork, then manipulation and layering into its finished form.
