A very nice, lose yourself in the immersive and hypnotic ambient sounds album that I am privileged to share with the very talented, driven, supremely creative people in Hoodrat Messiah, Outsider Industries and Jonathan Bergen.
My half of the split made August 5th 2023, using guitar, synth, Shotcut, Reaper and Wavepad.
This was around the time my semi-reclusive phase restarted, where I had to begin re-evaluating everything to figure out how to keep going. It halted lots of progress, but sometimes it just has to, so you can run off into the safer parts of your own mind (it is good to even realise that you have them), and think closer.
Maybe I have finally swam through the worst of the muddy bloody guts of these heavy recent introspective times. I emerge from the swamp a very different human, a different creative being, so thank you for being here to see me covered in muck and filth, but not giving up on me.
I find this album has been a great help for my mental health during some difficult times.
